Change! I hope this word doesn’t scare you but rather inspires you. But is it necessary for things to change? Or should the status-quo beespected?
Change is an evidence of life. It is impossible to grow without change. Life is always changing. No wonder they say change is constant.
How is a living thing distinguished from a dead thing? Not by the multiplicity of changes that takes place in it? Or by what? John Patterson said, “Only fools and dead men don’t change their minds. Fools won’t. Dead men can’t.” No doubt, it’s imperative for people to change because the man who uses yesterday’s methods in today’s business won't be in business tomorrow.
Human beings must recognize change as their greatest ally! But what about the society? Is change necessary for those in the society alone and not the society itself? And that’s where I’m going! A community can’t stand without the coming together of people. The society isn’t distinct from those in it, people constitute the society. So, before the society can change, people must be willing to change. If people don’t, then the society is dead!
No doubt, change is necessary! Changing the world starts by changing our worlds. So, change the world by changing your world! And of course, it begins with you!
